ARERR 35

Another copy of the server is already running on the same RPC socket.

Description:

Only one instance of AR System server can be run (on a specific RPC socket) on a computer at a time. If a server is already running in this RPC socket, no action is required.

If the server is not running, you probably encountered a known problem with the NFS lock manager on Sunª workstations. At times, the lock manager keeps a lock active even when the process holding the lock is no longer running. If no arserverd process is running, free the lock by deleting the lock file. Start the arserverd process after removing this file.
